Strand Lighting is an international theatre & television lighting company founded in 1914 in London’s West End.
The Patt 45 was a basic 500watt fresnel and was introduced in 1960 and manufactured to 1978 when it was replaced by the Patt 833. They were manufactured & designed by the Strand headquarters in Covent Garden, London.
Strand theatre lights are now prized for their iconic style & classic British design, they were superbly engineered and many have survived years of service, illuminating some of the worlds greatest performances.
This is a restoration project, there is no lamp and the wiring needs to be redone, not to mention the bodywork that is required, but is will be quite a stunning item once restored.
