Sir Stirling Moss Hand signed print – rare investment

£250.00

I bought the print at a golf day that I attended. There was a full day of golf followed by an immense amount of drinks and an auction to raise funds for St Francis Hospice. I’m a sucker for an auction, throw in some whisky and i’ll buy anything at any price, however this was different, I wanted this and I wanted St Francis to benefit.

At the time, Sir Stirling was very much alive (17 July 2012)

Description

Sir Stirling Craufurd Moss, OBE (17 September 1929 – 12 April 2020) was a British Formula One racing driver, he won 212 of the 529 races he entered across several categories of competition and has been described as “the greatest driver never to win the World Championship”.

Β In a seven-year span between 1955 and 1961 Sir Stirling finished as championship runner-up four times and in third place the other three times, talk about ultimate frustration!!!!

Moss died in London on 12 April 2020, aged 90, following a long illness.

Not to make light of his passing but the way in which the governments of the world have locked us all away, I believe he has gone to a better place than where we are! I don’t know where that is, I just know its better!
